SCREWS

A screw is an externally threaded fastener capable of being inserted into holes in assembled parts, of mating with a preformed internal thread or forming its own thread, and of being tightened or released by torqueing the head. It converts rotational motion to linear motion, and a torque (rotational force) to a linear force. It is one of the six classical simple machines. The most common form consists of a cylindrical shaft with helical grooves or ridges called threads around the outside.

Torx Screws

Torx Screws

Torx Screw is a trademarked type of screw drive characterized by a 6-point star-shaped pattern. They are typically used in vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, computer systems, hard disk drives and consumer electronics....

Wood Screws

Wood Screws

A wood screw generally has a partially unthreaded shank below the head. The unthreaded portion of the shank is designed to slide through the top board so that it can be pulled tight to the board to which it is being attached.

Machine Screws

Machine Screws

They are used to secure the different components of machines and other electrical components. They are smaller screws which have uniform threads. These screws are also used in securing tools, vehicles and electronic gadgets...

Chipboard Screws

Chipboard screws are self-tapping screws most commonly designed with a single thread that runs all the way from the base of the head to the tip. This means there is a larger distance between the peaks of the thread.

Self Drilling Screws

A Self-Drilling screw is a screw that features a drill point. The sharp drill point can drill a hole and form the mating threads in a single operation, Commonly used for quick drilling into both metal and wood.

Taptite Screws

TAPTITE® thread rolling screws roll form threads in plain cored, drilled, or punched holes upon assembly. Creating vibration resistant assemblies, eliminating the need to pre-tap internal threads in ductile materials

Dog Point Grub Screws

A dog point grub screw features a flat tip stretching from one end of the screw. This extended tip helps in locating a machined groove on a shaft.

Security Screws

They come in many different types and size, but all are designed to; prevent unauthorized access to protected areas, to deter vandalism, or to prevent the theft or removal of the items they are used to secure.
